New players who have connection issues to the META game console should check the following:

- Have you registered as a META assassin?

- Signed in with the Facebook prompt? (Click icon > Sign in via Facebook)

- Icon turns Red?

- You are alive and active (not retired/dead/neutralised))

If you've answered 'Yes' to all, proceed to http://assassin.me to check if you can shoot the practice target.

Your cursor should turn into an aiming cross hair and you will see a moving icon like this:

If all else fails, CLEAR YOUR BROWSER COOKIES & CACHE and restart your browser.

As META is played throughout the internet, website names are critical to how we tag an Assassin with a Target. Our systems are created in such a way where we identify the "domain" of a website and use that as the identifier to link players together. Sub-domains or web pages are not relevant to the system and are used only to gauge the "proximity" of players.

Eg, xxx.mywebsite.com will be the same as www.mywebsite.com

Therefore when specifying a health site, all you need to do is to enter the domain name. If you do not know the difference, just enter the URL and we will modify it for you.
